Registration Process for 2021 Camp 1. Read through all prerequisites and rules 2. Submit a registration form 3.Within one week of submitting your application, you will receive an email regarding if you have received a spot or been waitlisted for camp. 4. If you receive a spot, a confirmation email will be sent regarding payment instructions. Do NOT pay for registration deposit until a confirmation email is sent. This email confirms you are eligible. 5. Once a registration form and deposit is received, your working spot is reserved for camp. 6. Full payment for camp is due June 1st by 11:59pm PST.
2021 Registration Details Deposit is required at time of registration. Deposit is non-refundable and will only be accepted via Paypal for 2021.
COVID-19 Policies BJAC will have COVID-19 rules and restrictions. A form will be sent out asking for a signature from a parent/guardian and camper to abide by these rules. These rules will reflect the current CDC guidelines and will be based off the state of COVID-19 closer to the time of camp. If for any reason you do not agree to these rules prior to camp, BJAC will issue a full refund. If you break any of these rules during camp, disciplinary action will be taken.
Eligibility for Boundless Junior Agility Camp Boundless Junior Agility Camp is designed for improving and building on agility skills. This camp is not meant for foundation dog training. Please read through all prerequisites prior to registering for camp. Working dogs need to be comfortable on all agility equipment prior to registering for camp. Prerequisites for Boundless Junior Agility Camp - Juniors handlers must be 18 years of age or younger. - The handler must be familiar with AKC/USDAA style courses. - The dog must be proficient on all obstacles, including contacts and weaves. - The dog must be able to complete a 15 obstacle sequence. - The dog must be ready to trial or have already trialed.
Rules, Restrictions, and Aggression Policy To ensure the best camp experience for everyone, we have some important rules, restrictions, and policies.
Restrictions: -Dog must be able to proficiently perform a standard agility course and be comfortable on all agility equipment. -Dogs must be 18 months or older. No exceptions. -Handler must know basic handling techniques -Females in heat must wear a diaper at all times -We have guidelines for multiple working dogs if you sign up for only one spot, read below if this applies to you. If you want to run two dogs throughout the entire camp, please contact us. -If your dogs has any behavior problems and/or have a history of reactivity, contact bjac.juniors@gmail.com. -Dogs not working at camp are not permitted to run on camp equipment. Camp is run in tight quarters with limited crating space. Please limit the number of dogs you bring to camp. Read below for information on bringing non-working dogs to camp. (If this applies to you) -Submit this word into the registration form to confirm you have read all rules and restrictions. Registration word: Tunnel
Reactive Dog and Aggression Policy: If you are not 100% positive that you can manage your dog, do not bring him/her. This is for the safety of other humans and dogs. Dogs should be kept at a reasonable distance from each other at all times to avoid conflict. If your dog has anything that could be of concern, please contact us so that we can analyze the case and be aware of reactivity, etc. This is not an immediate cause for dismissal, we review each situation to determine the safety and well-being of your dog and others.
Multiple Dogs If you are bringing two working dogs and are hoping to split their working time, we have specific rules to follow. For each session, you are only allowed to work one dog and this will need to be relayed at the beginning of each session. Switching dogs in the middle of a session is not permitted. In your registration, include both dog's information and your handling video should include both dogs. Example: At Camp: AM session- Meri, PM session - Dare Registration: Dog's Name: Meri / Dare
Working your dog Using the agility equipment and rings is not permitted during lunch, or before and after camp sessions.
Groups Groups will be limited to 10 campers each. Groups are decided based on the information provided in your registration form. Your group will have mixed heights, so we ask that every camper help set bars to keep camp running smoothly. If you would like to be placed in the same group as a particular camper, please contact us privately. We will try our best to meet your request.
Non-Working Dogs We understand there are varying circumstances that require non-working dogs needing to be crated at the facility during camp. We highly encourage only bringing dogs a year or older. Before camp, we will be sending out a crating survey that asks you to fill out how much space you will need. Non-Refundable Deposit At the time of registration, a $250 deposit is required. Registration will be considered incomplete without a deposit. This deposit secures a working spot for a camper at Boundless Junior Agility Camp. This deposit is non-refundable.
We reserve the right to deny registration to any camper or dog viewed as unfit, unsafe, or inappropriate for Boundless Junior Agility Camp.
